The newest clip, Terminator Facial Tracking Effect, is my introductory attempt at 3D facial tracking. This term describes the process of tracking the movement & rotations of an on-screen object, then seemlessly compositing a new digital layer on top of that original footage. In this instance it's a terminator skull, but a typical Hollywood example would be the talking animals in many films. That effect would involve filming the animals in their scene, then compositing the digital talking head on top of the body.
